| The Parent Teacher Council of Stamford, CT
(PT Council) is a strong citywide organization
working exclusively on behalf of children and
youth. Our primary objective is to unite our twenty
individual school's PTOs' and to strengthen the
family unit through parent involvement. The PT
Council is made up of a Executive Board and a
representative from all 20 Stamford Public Schools
grades K-12. We provide workshops, leadership
development, information, and programs; coordinates
programs and projects of member units; and works
to promote parent-teacher partnerships in the
school district and wider community. Click

Parent Teacher Council of
Stamford and its member schools share the common
goals of:

Promoting the welfare of children
and youth in their schools and communities. |

Bringing the home and the school into closer
cooperation in the education of children. |

Providing opportunities for faculty and
parents to exchange information that will
enhance the educational environment for all

The event is citywide, fun-filled, interactive,
and multi-lingual and its purpose is to
increase awareness of the services, agencies,
programs and organizations serving Stamford’s
